For the 2025/26 school year, the Schools Energy Project is providing schools activities solely in the New Forest District Council area.  All junior and primary schools in this area are invited to participate and all our activities are free of charge.

From September 2025 to Easter 2026, we are offering:

  • Whole School Assemblies on Saving Energy
    • including free thermometer cards for every classroom in your school
    • and the Energy Saving Activity Sheet Competition

From November 2025 to Easter 2026, we are offering:

  • Thermal imaging surveys of the outside of your school buildings and Energy Efficiency support for your site management and business management teams.

Until October ’25 half term and then after February ’26 half term, we are offering all schools:

  • Tours of the Lymington solar farm
  • Whole School Assemblies or Classroom Sessions on Solar Energy
  • Save the Planet Assemblies

More activities are in the pipeline for after Christmas 2025 and we will keep you informed of these as soon as firm details are available.

We look forward to hearing from you!
